Kundalini: The Game, Your Tarot Message

At the end of Kundalini: The Game you hold four cards from the Alchemystic Tarot. Together they form one message, read in the four positions of the sacred name Yod Heh Vav Heh, as Papus laid them out in The Tarot of the Bohemians.

Where your four cards go

  1. Yod, the Seeker: who you are (your archetype card).
  2. Heh, the Question: the question you have of life (the first key you pick up).
  3. Vav, the Embodiment: what you have to embody to get there (the second key).
  4. Heh, the Result: the result of proper embodiment (the third key).

Why this order

In Papus's reading of the sacred name, Yod is the active seed, the first Heh is what receives it, Vav is the hook or nail that joins the two, and the final Heh is the result, which becomes the seed of the next cycle. Your four cards walk that same path, much like the Fool's Journey through the tarot.

How the order is set

You chose your three Snake keys at the first threshold, the Prism. At the second threshold the keys are shuffled face down and picked up one at a time. The first key you pick up is your Question, the second is your Embodiment, and the third is your Result.

How to read your message

Look up each of your four cards below, then read them together as one message: who you are (the Seeker), the question you have of life (the Question), what you have to embody to get there (the Embodiment), and the result of proper embodiment (the Result).

Example reading

Seeker: The Hermit, the Hermit, the seeker of inner light.
Question: Ace of Cups, overflowing love.
Embodiment: Seven of Pentacles, patience.
Result: Nine of Cups, wishes fulfilled.

Read as one message: I am the Hermit, the seeker of inner light. My question is overflowing love, I must embody patience, and the result is wishes fulfilled.
